It's no wonder that there are 3 locations in Wilmington, and 2 in Jacksonville. The food is always great mostly due to the freshness. They offer an array of Mexican dishes to keep everyone satisfied. You can't go wrong by starting out with chips, salsa, and a Margarita. Stop in to see them at Mayfaire, Monkey Junction, or on S. College by UNCW.

This is what an Italian restaurant is supposed to look, smell, and taste like. Besides the classics, they also have a brick oven which takes their pizza to another level. Wine options are abundant and the service matches the quality of the food. The restaurant also offers two large catering rooms that can accommodate over 100 guests when combined. This is definitely one of Wilmington's best.

Opposed to the other 3 locations in Wilmington and 1 in Surf City, the Mayfaire spot is the only Nikki's with hibachi. Unique to competitors, they offer swordfish, salmon, and even tuna hibachi dinners. Even with this alternative, the sushi is still in high demand. Two brothers started the business and strive to provide the very best for their patrons.

Terrazzo Trattoria

Terrazzo is an excellent Italian Restaurant that has been in operation in Landfall center for a long time.  It is a local favorite.  The food is very tastey and it comes up quickly, service is great and the atmosphere is quite enjoyable for any occasion really.  There is a bar and a lounge up front with tvs to catch the game if you'd like.  Lunch or dinner are great times for Terazzo! Ogden Tap Room is a favorite amonst the North Wilmington residents.  It has 40 beers on tap and a sports bar atmosphere with TV's everywhere.  The food is reasonably priced and everything on the menu is tastey.  The Tap Room also has a patio dining area and an open deck with and outdoor bar where live music is often featured.   Check it out at OgdenTapRoom.com and come try it in person. You wont be disappointed.

Islands first opened on Racine Drive and now has another location on Market Street in Ogden. They describe themselves as a Mexican American restaurant with a Caribbean flair, serving tacos, burritos, salads, nachos, etc.  The food is fantastic, it's very fast, and you can't beat the prices.  The serving line sometimes gets long, as you miight imagine when tacos are only $1, but it moves fast. Order a fountain drink or a cold beer and sit inside at a table or booth, or outside under the mossy oaks.  Visit IslandsFreshMexGrill.com

Nikki’s is a staple in the diets of Wilmingtonians, with several locations throughout town. Each location has a slightly different vibe from the others, for example, the Forum location is more of a Hibachi steak house, and downtown is a small, almost deli style sushi bar, but great taste is standard at all locations.  The extensive menu includes vegan and vegetarian options.

This is one of the few seafood restaurants downtown that stay open year round. The Reel often features live entertainment and they have an array of happy hour specials. They challenge diners, “to find better oysters elsewhere”. These are fresh, locally picked oysters, with the same day harvest.  The Reel has several indoor spaces, a covered patio, and a rooftop bar.  It’s a good atmosphere, no matter which setting you prefer.

If you don’t know about this place, you should. This pizzeria has been a local favorite for years and has been voted the “Best Pizza in Wilmington”. Employees pride themselves on using only the freshest ingredients and filtered water. They offer high quality, hand tossed pizzas made to order. Be sure to grab a slice at one of their three convenient locations.

Dark wood features throughout catch your eye when entering the Brewery, not to mention the large fermenting tanks where precious micro brews are coming to life. This is actually the only micro brewery in Wilmington, dating back to 1894. An achievement of the restaurant is that nothing they serve comes from a bag. There are also no pre made items; they love to incorporate beer into the menu. This is also 1 of 5 locations in Wilmington with a confirmed ghost…his name is Henry. Stop in and someone will be sure to tell his story.

This is a Boar's Head signature deli. Their sandwiches are made with fresh produce and fresh bread provided by Sweet and Savory bakery. Chop's also offers soups and salads made in house daily.
